Hallmark Christmas movie filming in Dutchess, Orange counties; see how to become an extra
A new Hallmark Christmas movie will soon be filming in the Hudson Valley.
“A Christmas Spectacular” will film in Beacon, Staatsburg, Newburgh and Albany, according to Laurent Rejto, director of the Hudson Valley Film Commission.
A casting call posted to the Hudson Valley Film Commission’s Instagram page notes filming will begin at the end of January and will continue through February.
The movie, set in 1957, tells the story of a woman in New York who has high-kicking dreams of being a Rockette, though her family doesn’t approve.
