‘Poker Face,’ filmed in Mid Hudson starring Lyonne, debuts in January; watch the trailer
Mid Hudson residents will not have to wait much longer to see themselves on Peacock.
They’ll have to keep waiting to see themselves on HBO, though.
On Jan. 26 “Poker Face,” the Natasha Lyonne-starring mystery series that filmed around the region for the better part of this year, will debut on NBC’s Peacock streaming service, according to a trailer released this week.
However, the wait for “The White House Plumbers,” the historical dramedy limited series that filmed around the region for the better part of 2021, will continue on to next year, according to a promotional reel HBO recently released. No release date has yet been announced.
The series are two of several that have helped the film industry locally continue growing over the past two years.
The news of “Poker Face’s” release in roughly three months sparked online excitement, with many who snagged a role as an extra or job otherwise associated with the production eager to post about their experience on social media.
